The Girl From Mo' Bay

This tune is a relaxed tempo Soca and plays off the classic melody from Jobim's Girl from Ipanema. The tune is contained in the A, B, and C sections and includes two variations, a Tenor variation beginning at letter D, and Double Tenor variation beginning at letter G. Steel band directors can feel free to put these solos or solis into a different pan voice if it makes sense for your band. An experienced soloist could also forgo these variations and use those sections for improvisation.
