Soca Swan

This composition turns the popular melody from Swan Lake into an energetic soca. Pair this (possibly as an encore "bomb" tune) with my arrangement of the actual piece or perform it on its own. Either way, the memorable melody and up-tempo style will have the audience enjoying it as much as the performers. The middle section is newly composed material that offers opportunity for percussion solos. Standard soca patterns from the engine room instruments (brake drum, congas, shaker, scratcher, cowbell, etc.) are a welcomed and crucial addition to the energy of Soca Swan!
