Nacho Day

It's been well-tested in the classroom, and is always a hit with students. It's quickly becoming an all-time favorite ...it's NACHO DAY! It begins with a montuno in the DS and Guitar, and features a big full band unison B section. The low voices get a chance at the melody and there are nice big moments to dig into as a band.

"One day, after enjoying all-you-can eat nachos at lunch, some students asked me to write a piece called Nacho Day. It starts off with a 2-3 clave rhythm and builds from there. It’s a fun piece expressing the joy of contented teenagers after a good lunch!" -Mike Marston.
